About Femern Agency
Femern Agency are Lolland Municipality's advisory centre for the large consortia, subcontractors, job seekers, job centers and professional business partners who wish to participate in the construction and production phase of the Fehmarnbelt Project.
Femern Agency is the "One Point of Contact" for companies, authorities, apprentices, and citizens with a professional interest in the Fehmarnbelt tunnel project. We inform about apprenticeships, recruitment of employees, give guidance to potential apprentices and adult apprentices, and communicate with job seekers interested the project. An important part of our mission is also to inform about the broad outlines of the project and refer to relevant assisting authorities locally and nationally, as well as companies sited all over Denmark.
At Femern Agency:
- We work towards ensuring the largest possible share of Danish labour in the project
- We support the upskilling of unemployed candidates for positions targeted at job openings in the project.
- We help potential apprentices and trainees getting access to education and training in the large consortia and companies on the project.
- We match jobseekers with job postings and provide guidance on upskilling and competency profiles.
- We provide qualified candidates from all over Denmark who are interested in the project through our network in job centers and nationwide communication about the project, settlement, and job opportunities.
- We assist companies with how to recruit apprentices and employees for the Fehmarnbelt construction project
- We have a strong cooperation between Lolland Municipality, Guldborgsund Municipality and the Danish Agency for Labour Market and Recruitment (STAR)
